Mother Mary is a composition dedicated to the life and sudden death of my mother, Mary Frances Dunham. The pieces were originally written to accompany a dance of the same name, choreographed by Julie-Ann Gambino, which chronicled Mary's extraordinary life. Mary was a dedicated and fiercely passionate mother, wife, animal lover, and intellectual. Her tireless work ethic astounded and occasionally intimidated her colleagues in the civil service, and she left behind a life story of perseverance that serves as a powerful inspiration to me and my family.

Mary was especially smitten with horses, and in her honor I am donating the sales of this album to the Humane Society of Ventura in order to help farm animals affected by the Thomas fires.

Included in the full album download is a previously un-released composition, an expert from an essay on Mary's life, and a link to a video of the Mother Mary dance premiere. Thank you.
